presented a lot of information about colonial America and the time of the Revolutionary War, and even after that time period The illustrations were good, and it was really neat because the copy I read was an original from 1965 I could definitely use this book in a classroom when discussing the events of the Revolutionary War It would be a great book to read when talking about events from that time good non fiction resource for a classroom I think that it would probably be better for upper elementary middle school because of the length This book could be used for talking about the founding fathers, early America, the Liberty Bell, and American icons This is a book that I loved reading when I was in elementary school It is a brief and understandable history of one of the most revered
